Chuck Linney Death – Chuck Linney has passed away suddenly. He was pronounced dead on Saturday, the 8th of April 2023. He died leaving his family who will forever miss hum grieving and heartbroken. MLA Elizabeth announced his death is a social media publication that reads: “Our community is mourning the loss of Chuck Linney. I know many people are grieving deeply, especially his family, his hockey and sports family as well as the many doctors and nurses that cared for him, especially for the last 2months.”

He was a hockey coach. “He was more than the guy at the rink or field with a camera, coaching on the bench or in the stand’s cheering He was a friend to every single player, coach, referee, fan or volunteer that shared his passion for sport and competition. More importantly to him, participation was key for all who wanted to play, coach, referee or just be part of the game” – Tony Rushton said

Chuck Linney we weren’t ready to see you go, to get the unbelievable news of your passing. I hope you know that you were loved beyond measure. You were a gift to your community. You supported all kids, all sports and all genders. You captured epic moments in time and left us all with lasting memories. You instilled ethics, hard work and fun in every athlete and coach you encountered. You also told it like it was but always with kindness.
