Death: Teen struck, killed while riding bike remembered for ‘kindhearted soul’ – A community in South Jersey is mourning the death of a 17-year-old boy who was struck and killed while riding his bike over the weekend. Christopher Jambor, 17, was riding north on the southbound shoulder of Route 621/Lawrence Corner Road near McKishen Road in Pittsgrove Township around 5:45 p.m.
According to nj.com, Saturday when his bike crossed into the southbound lane and was struck by a car traveling south, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman. The accident is still being investigated, and no charges have been filed.
Christopher was an 11th-grader at Arthur P. Schalick High School, where he was known for his friendliness and school spirit. In a statement, Principal Yvette DuBois-Trembley said, “Chris was a beloved part of our Schalick family.” “His warm nature made him a treasured friend to many and a joy to educate. He devoted himself to our football and tennis teams. He proudly wore his school colors.
