According to authorities, a passenger in a vehicle was arguing with a man at a gas station in Decatur when shots were fired, and the driver of the vehicle was killed.
According to DeKalb County police authorities say Christopher Harrold, 44, was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to an unidentified hospital on Tuesday evening. Harrold was shot multiple times, but authorities did not indicate how many times or where he was hit.
Victor Richardson, 25, was identified as the suspect in the shooting at the Chevron on Columbia Drive by detectives. According to online jail records, he was detained Thursday night and charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Police questioned the vehicle’s passenger, but he was not arrested. Authorities did not specify the nature of the dispute.
