Christine Stec Death – Well-known Oakdale School 4th grade teacher Christine Stec of Dedham, Massachusetts has sadly passed away. She died on Saturday 25th March 2023 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by her family who will forever love and cherish him. The news of her death was known through various publications made on Facebook. She will continue to serve as an exemplar and a source of motivation for numerous generations to come.
Who was Christine Stec?
Her upbeat attitude was contagious, and anyone who had the opportunity to engage with her found themselves brimming with vitality and happiness as a result of their time spent with her. Christine had spent her whole life in the town of Dedham, and she was a much-loved and respected fourth-grade teacher at Oakdale School. There, she served as a source of motivation and a lighthouse for learning for her numerous children. Her family, her friends, and the people in her neighborhood admired her for the dedication and commitment she showed in everything that she did.
She never gave up dancing and remained committed to her life’s mission, which was to “make memories” throughout her entire life. Even as she was fighting, she lived every day according to her own rules. She is absolutely irreplaceable and has left an impression on everyone who had the good fortune to know her during her lifetime.

Christine is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 24 years, William A. Stec; her beautiful children, Alexis Mara and Dylan John. Also survived by her parents, Andrew and Virginia Bayiates of Dedham; brothers, John Bayiates of Dedham and Edward and his wife Elisa of Needham. She was predeceased by her youngest brother, Thomas Bayiates. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews
Visiting Hours will be held at George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High Street, DEDHAM, MA on Tuesday, March 28 from 3-8pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham, on Wednesday, March 29 at 10am, followed by Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, LaGrange Street, West Roxbury.
