After being hurt while attempting a ski jump, a teenager is in critical condition at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The boy is from Onondaga County, and the Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies have given a report on the incident to the public, as they are actively involved in the case.
Ski jumping is a winter sport in which contestants attempt to make the farthest leap after sliding down a specially created curving ramp on their skis. Despite the enjoyment, ski jumping has been a treat recently. Some people end up in the hospital as a result of game-related incidents, and some people die.

The police reported that, The 15-year-old landed face first while skiing over a ski jump at Bristol Mountain. The boy is currently fighting for his life as he incurred several injuries though he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to deputies.
He was carried to the Bristol Fire House by ambulance and then flown to the hospital by Mercy Flight Central, where he died on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
