Christopher Scruggs Death – 47-year-old Chris Scruggs passed away after the motorcycle accident that happened in Tuscaloosa County on Labor Day. State Troopers verified on Tuesday morning that a local man had passed away after being involved in a motorbike accident in Tuscaloosa County late on Labor Day. Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama State Troopers, told local media that Christopher L. Scruggs, 47, was operating a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle on Pate Road on Monday night when he veered off the roadway and crashed.

Chris Scruggs was pronounced dead at the scene. During the single-vehicle collision, King stated that troopers suspect Scruggs collided with a metal fence and sustained life-threatening injuries. Scruggs, who was a resident of Buhl, was transferred to DCH Regional Medical Center, and according to King, the man passed away shortly after arriving at that facility. The cause of his death is linked to the injuries he sustained during the fatal motorcycle accident that happened in Tuscaloosa County on Labor Day.
According to King, the fatal collision occurred around 10:45 p.m. approximately three miles south of Buhl, and troopers are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The names of a Rainsville couple that was killed in a horrible accident that occurred on Interstate 459 in Jefferson County and also injured two other people have been made public by the authorities. The victims have been named as 63-year-old Jefferson S. Jones and 58-year-old Susan S. Jones by Alabama State Troopers. The collision took place on I-459 South close to US-280 at approximately 8:02 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the Rocky Ridge Fire Department, the collision resulted in several fatalities as well as the need for multiple extrications. According to Senior Trooper Justin O’Neal, Susan Jones was behind the wheel of the Jeep Cherokee that was involved in the head-on collision with the Mazda CX-5 that was driven by Kellie R. Stephenson, 39, of Irondale.
