Chris Arduser Death – Famous American drummer for the The Bears!, The Raisins, Psychodots, The Graveblankets has passed away at age 63. Chris Arduser died on Wednesday morning, September 27, 2023, following a brief illness. Chris was a member of the The Bears and partner to Adrian Belew, Rob Fetters, Bob Nyswonger, Laura Nyswonger and many others. Following his death Bob Nyswonger wrote;
“It is with a very heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of my longtime friend and musical brother Chris Arduser. I spent so much time with Chris & his brothers during my high school years, I felt like part of the family. He was a complete artist – a brilliant musician and writer, and I cherish every minute I spent with him – playing for people all over the world and making recordings. There will be a memorial down the road, but we’re all going to need some time to process this loss. Godspeed Chris.”
Chris Arduser was a brilliant drummer, songwriter, and singer, and a funny, endlessly creative human being. Chris was an early influence to many drummer/singer. “I’m deeply sad to let you know Chris Arduser passed away this morning with loving family and friends close by. There will be a memorial celebration of his life and remarkable musical accomplishments in a few months.”
