Chad was a loving father who was very engaged in his children’s lives and was unquestionably their biggest supporter. For thirteen years, he had the opportunity of being a stay-at-home parent, focused on raising his children and supporting Farah in all of her endeavors. Chad Haws, Taber, Alberta man, born on September 7, 1974, reportedly died unexpectedly on February 19, 2022, at the age of 47.
Chad’s zest for life impacted those around him and helped to bring people together — Chad and Farah’s house was often the site of dinner parties or overnight stops for relatives and friends traveling through Calgary. When the tale isn’t done, goodbyes hurt the most, and while our hearts will always be crushed, be certain that you are worth every tear that falls.
The family has requested that anybody who has memories or anecdotes about Chad write them down and share them with the family. You are welcome to bring your memories to the ceremony and place them in the “memory box” for the family to cherish afterward. Chad’s favorite colors were black and silver, and everybody attending the funeral is encouraged to dress in these colors in his honor.
On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) will have a funeral service. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Funeral Home’s Hospitality Centre. Chad Haws’ service will be webcast live (see below) on the day of the ceremony for family and friends who are unable to come in person. A videotape of the service will be available for anyone who are unable to see it live.
