Central Park Shooting Today – Multipe enforcement agencies and emergency crews are responding to a shooting at a park in Lewisville, Texas, on Saturday, May 27th, 2023. The Lewisville Police Department says that officers were sent to Central Park after reports of shots being fired in the area. At the time this report was made, it was stated that one person was killed and a suspect was arrested and in police custody.
On S. Edmonds Lane in Central Park, a shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. After hearing the shots, an officer who was nearby responded. A firearm was discovered nearby, and a male had been found shot in the head. He was identified as dead. Officers, K-9 units, and Air One are searching for two additional suspects, according to the Lewisville Police Department. People are asked to stay away from the area while authorities look into what happened.

On the evening of Tuesday, February 28th, 2023, the Lewisville Police Department is looking for a guy who is accused of shooting his girlfriend and her son. At approximately 6:15 p.m., police were called to the Timbers@121 apartment complex, which is located at 1902 South Hwy 121.
Tuesday, authorities investigated the incident and discovered a woman, age 27, who had been wounded twice in the leg, as well as a boy, age 4, whose stomach had been grazed by a bullet. A news release from the Lewisville Police Department states that they were taken to the hospital, where they were treated, and then discharged. The victim reported to the authorities that her boyfriend had shot her before fleeing the site of the crime.
Tuesday, officers from the Lewisville Police Department and state troopers from the Department of Public Safety looked for the man but were unable to locate him in the area. The police are aware of who the suspect is; however, they have decided not to make his identity public because they do not believe there to be any imminent threat to the community as a result of it being an isolated event.
