Cassie Spencer Death – Cassie Spencer, of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 23, she was mother of three son, Jaden, Ash, and Maddox. Spencer was said to have died as a result of the severe injuries she had sustained in a motor vehicle accident. The details into the accident are sketchy at this time as the authorities are yet to release any official report.
Jessica Honaker wrote in a Facebook tribute that she had not expect to the news of Cassie’s passing. Jessica said she had not gotten to see Cassie in forever & now she regret not messaging her a while back. Jessica shared old pictures which she said to have found. “I’ll never forget all the fun times & laughs that we had!! I will be praying for your family & your lil boy’s!! This jus don’t seem real & I can’t wrap my head around this juss yet,” she wrote.

The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement regarding the automobile accident that occurred on Rt. 219 North near Lewisburg on March 24: Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Route 219 and Maple Carriage Drive in the vicinity of Lewisburg at approximately 12:45 p.m., according to a press release.
Officers determined that a 2021 Dodge Challenger driven by a 28-year-old male from the Lewisburg area was traveling north on U.S. 219 when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole and road sign. After crossing Maple Carriage Drive, the vehicle collided with the commercial sign at the Greenbrier Bowling and Recreation Center, where it came to rest.
The vehicle subsequently caught fire, and a passing motorist assisted the driver out of the vehicle. The driver, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was then transported by air medical services to a medical facility outside of the area for treatment. At the time of the writing of this release, the condition of the driver is uncertain.
The accident location was processed by the Accident Reconstruction team of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office. The Lewisburg Police Department and the West Virginia State Police aided the sheriff’s office. The Lewisburg Fire Department and Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance Service also responded to this incident.
The primary investigator is Corporal Brandon McCormick of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
