Cason Anderson Death – Blake Anderson, American football coach and former player who is currently the head coach at Utah State University has shared the news of his son passing. Cason Anderson was found dead in his apartment on February 28, 2022, he was said to have died by suicide. He was 21 years old. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in Arkansas in 2020.
Throughout his father’s coaching career, Cason lived in numerous locations, but he always regarded Hubbard, Texas to be his home. In 2021, he relocated to Pflugerville, Texas to be closer to his family and to work for his uncle at Techline Pipe. Cason’s interest in welding began in high school and continued at the Tulsa Welding Academy, where he received his certification as a welder.
Blake lost his first wife to cancer, got a fresh start as head coach at Utah State, fell in love got remarried. “He had demons I could not see and he chose not to share. I could only imagine what he felt before he pulled that trigger. I’m his Dad, I could not keep him safe…” Blake said. “If I cant share my brokenness and vulnerability, how can I expect these guys(his football team) to do the same… After the passing of Cason, Blake said he now makes sure his office is a safe place for his players to go and talk. Two of his players have gotten help they would not have had if they hadn’t felt they had a place to go.

American football coach Robert Blake Anderson is also a former player in the sport, and he is currently the head coach of the Utah State University football team. Previous positions held by Anderson include those of offensive coordinator at the University of North Carolina from 2012 to 2013, run game coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2009 to 2011, and head coach at Arkansas State University from 2014 until 2020.
