The man was killed when he was struck by a female motorist who was only 17 years old. At the time, his children were sitting in the family car witnessing the fast and extremely sad moment.
The teenager, according to the police, stayed at the site and is being completely cooperative with the inquiry. William Wimsatt, the son of one of the other drivers, was 12 years old when he took the touching photo of the random act of kindness.
