Carson Baranek Death – Colorado State University student Carson Baranek allegedly died by suicide, according to a statement on his fundraising page. His passing was announced today, Saturday, the 4th of March 2023. Carson was 19 years old at the time of his death. According to reports, Carson had taken his own life sometime during the night on Thursday, the 2nd of March 2023. Thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, community and his schoolmates during this difficult time.
On March 2nd, 2023 Carson’s loved ones would painfully learn that he had taken his own life at sometime during the night. While we are rightfully confused and saddened by the questions left unanswered, we know that Carson would want us all to keep moving forward purposefully and full of joy, smiling the whole way on.
Who was Carson Baranek?
Carson was a much-loved son, brother, and friend to numerous individuals. Everyone who was impacted by his existence is aware of how exceptional and singular his soul was, and we cherish our memories of him. Carson never failed to put a smile on anyone’s face with whom he interacted. Carson’s beautiful trait of altruism placed the happiness of his friends and family above his own, which ultimately led to his tragic demise.

A GoFundMe page has been established by family friend Eu Asefaw, a Fort Collins, Colorado resident. According to Asefaw, the money raised through this effort will go to the family to help with the funeral expenses. The “Help for the Moore Family” page has raised USD 6,527 of the $12,000 goal.
“We ask that you help support the Baranek family as they go through this very difficult time by donating whatever you can as arrangements are being made to properly lay their beautiful boy to rest. We love you, Carson, rest in peace. Phi Alpha, brother,” a statement on the fundraising read.
