Carmel Cafiero Death – A longtime WSVN-TV investigative reporter, Carmel Cafiero passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. She was a woman full of love, she was skillful and intelligent. She was known by Miami Her unending fervor, doggedness, and insightful probing have left an indelible mark on the journalism of South Florida, and it will never be the same. The cause of her death is yet to be released to the public after Carmel Cafiero passed away on Friday.

75-year-old Carmel Cafiero has spent her entire 43-year career doggedly searching for the truth by interrogating subjects in a manner that is very in-depth. South Floridians will never forget her for being an investigative journalist who had a lot of guts. The members of Carmel Cafiero’s family who are still alive include Bob, Courtney, and the couple’s daughters Mariah and Melanie. WSVN is a television station that is connected with Fox and can be found in Miami, Florida.

Carmel Cafiero worked with the organization with over forty years of serious commitment and dedication. The area’s main station for Sunbeam Television’s affiliate network. The broadcasting facilities for WSVN may be found on the 79th Street Causeway in North Bay Village. However, the station’s signal is broadcast from a transmitter near Miami Gardens.

WSVN’s Broward Bureau is located in the Cafiero office in Fort Lauderdale. Her bio on WSVN states that over the course of her career, she was awarded a great deal of recognition, including nine Emmys, two George Foster Peabodys, and a Sigma Delta Chi Distinguished Service award. She was awarded the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award in 2010 for her series titled “Pill Mills,” for which she exposed the seedy underbelly of so-called pain clinics and the dangers of abusing prescription drugs.

Carmel Cafiero started her career at a very young age and retired as WSVN-TV investigative reporter at age 68 in 2016. Condolences are been sent to the family members, friends and the entire WSVN-TV team after 75-year-old Carmel Cafiero from Miami passed away on September 22, 2023.
