It was reported that Officer Andrea Ciminello died in a head-on collision. According to reports, Officer Andrea was struck head-on while on her way to her new job. She was a victim of a tragic head-on collision due to another driver speeding and losing control of their vehicle.
According to reports, the adverse driver, a CoreCivic employee was required to work a double shift and she was reportedly sleeping while driving which made her lose control of her vehicle. The two people in the other vehicle were unidentified.
Reports say that the driver who collided head-on with Andrea was charged with a misdemeanour, but the sheriff’s office recommended that the driver will be charged with vehicular manslaughter and an additional assault. An investigation is currently ongoing, the responding authorities didn’t test the driver if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. The Ciminello family are seeking justice over the sad passing of their beloved daughter, Andrea.
