Calverton Man Killed Following Motorcycle Collision Saturday Night, Police Seek Witnesses: Riverhead Police are looking for witnesses in a motorcycle collision that killed a Calverton man Saturday night in Riverhead. Phillippe Robinette, 40, was riding his motorbike on Grove Street in Riverhead shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday when he crossed South Oakland Drive and collided with a home, according to police.
According to the police report, Robinette was critically injured in the accident and was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he died from his injuries incurred in the crash. The Riverhead Police Department Detective Division and the New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded to help with the investigation.
