The Burrillville Police Department said that a “minor motor vehicle accident” occurred on Thursday, and that the accident involved a school bus that was inhabited by students.
A collision took place at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Central Street, when a man behind the bus decided to pull ahead too quickly and caused the back of the vehicle to collide with it.
Evaluations were performed on each of the six primary school pupils who were riding the bus at the time of the incident. There were no injuries reported at the scene, and the parents of the students were contacted.
