Bud Shuster was an American politician who was known as a legislative legend during his time. He was known to be an incredible leader, public servant, and conservative Republican. He was born in the Pittsburgh suburb of Glassport, Pennsylvania into the family of Grace (née Greinert) and Prather Leroy Shuster. “Bud Shuster was a good man, but even more, a great Representative of the people of central Pennsylvania.
He earned his M.B.A. from Duquesne University in 1960, a Ph.D. from American University in 1967, and a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1954, when he joined Sigma Chi. “He often got things done on a bipartisan basis with democratic colleagues including securing funding for the many public roads we enjoy in Bedford County, such as I-99, which brought many good-paying jobs to Bedford County and the surrounding areas.” Jordan Teeters said
