Houston shooting victim identified
It was approximately 6:10 in the evening when the incident took place in the 2100 block of Mid Lane. When officers arrived to the scene of the incident, they discovered that the victim had already passed away, as confirmed by Chief Troy Finner of the HPD. Btb Savage, the unidentified victim, who witnesses informed police was a black male in his 20s, was driving a white Mercedes when the suspects pulled up in a black Subaru vehicle, according to the witnesses’ statements to the police.
Evidence that has been making its way through the media suggests that BTB Savage was parked on the side of the road in his white Mercedes Benz when, seemingly out of nowhere, a black Subaru came up behind him. Two unknown gunmen then stepped out of the vehicle and opened fire on BTB Savage.
When a number of bullets were fired, the two suspects exited the vehicle and ran away along San Felipe in the opposite direction from where they came. The large quantity of spent casings found at the scene leads the police to conclude that this was a premeditated attack. Police are continuing to review the footage from the surveillance cameras while simultaneously appealing to anyone who may have information to reach out to them.
The identity of Btb Savage who was killed was not immediately made public. The only description the police have provided is that the suspects were all wearing black clothing, hoodies, and sunglasses. The police have stated that this is all they know about the suspects.
Btb Savage obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by family members
