Bridget Campbell Birth and Education
Bridget Lorraine Campbell was born in Oakville on September 21st, 1978. She was born and raised in Georgetown, Ontario, and later attended Western University and Queen’s University for her undergraduate and law schooling, respectively. During this time, Bridget played volleyball for both the Ontario provincial team and the Western Canadian squad (captaining the team in her senior year). Bridget moved to Toronto after finishing law school and was working as an associate for Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.
In 2008, she tied the knot with her longtime love Edward and started working as an in-house attorney for BlackRock. Until her death, she was a vital part of the BlackRock legal team in her role as a Director. As of 2018, Bridget was no longer with us. People who were in close proximity to her reported that she had a soothing manner of speech and radiated an aura that was warm and comforting.
The only thing that could top Bridget’s commitment and devotion to her family was the passion and dedication she had for the work she did as an attorney. She genuinely served as a model for others to follow and did a wonderful job of making us proud. Bridget was the bright spot in all of our lives, and we are going to miss her terribly. She was a model that everyone should strive to be like. She was a fantastic wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.
