Brian Moon Death – Brian Moon, a resident of Brainerd, Minnesota sadly passed away on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023. He was announced dead by Walleye Alliance, Inc. on Friday, September 22, 2023, in a social media publication that read “Brian Moon helped give the Walleye Alliance a platform for people to learn about the organization via Brainerd Outdoors. He was also the emcee at our first-ever spring banquet. Much gratitude to Brian. RIP my friend.”

Brian Moon, a resident of Brainerd, Minnesota, according to his social media profile. He went to School District of Flambeau and also studied at Central Lakes College. He was famous at the Power Loon and Brainerd Outdoors “The Moonie.”
Unique and unreplaceable, he was. As the one and only Brian Moon, he will live on in the Brainerd Lakes Area and be remembered by a great number of people. He worked very long hours and was very dedicated to BL Broadcasting and Hubbard Radio. Brian hosted the show about hunting and fishing. He dedicated his entire life to radio broadcasting and was a real gentleman both on the air and as a friend.
Brian had an effect on a lot more than just his family. He was a friend in the best sense of the word. He was a lighthouse of support and friendship for those who were lucky enough to know him. Because he was honest and loyal, he built bridges of trust and understanding that connected people who lived far apart and had different backgrounds.
Tribute to Brian Moon
Wayne R. Harting in a social media post said “We lost a good one, way too soon – famous at the Power Loon and Brainerd Outdoors “The Moonie”. It always amazed me how little he knew about fishing but he seemed to know what questions to ask to make a great show.” Wayne also said “I will never forget telling him to run the trolling motor while I re tie – and him responding “I don’t know how” but we had some good times on the river.”
The family will release Brian Moon’s obituary and funeral arrangements at a later date.
