Downtown Assault – A man was assaulted in the central business district of the city on Monday night, and he was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the Toronto police. Shortly before 11:30 o’clock at night, according to the police, the incident took place at the intersection of King Street West and Portland Street, which is situated just east of Bathurst Street.
According to the police, one victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that posed a significant risk to their life. Brett Sheffield has not been identified as the victim. According to investigators, the suspect ran away from the scene but was later taken into custody.
