Who was Brendan Mahatoo?
Brendan was a well-known lawyer. He got his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. He focuses most of his work on residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates, and business law. He is most interested in real estate and has wanted to be a real estate agent since he was five years old.
Brendan’s focus on his clients has helped him build a growing, exciting law business where he provides the best and most cost-effective services to his clients. Brendan grew up in Kenora, Ontario, so he has always had a small-town neighbourhood mentality. Brendan is an avid volunteer in his neighbourhood and often gives talks on different real estate law themes.
Brendan has always been interested in law, and when he was accepted early into law school, he thought it was one of the best moments of his life. Even though Brendan had to go through a lot of hard things, like losing his father too soon and going through major surgeries and health problems, he did so with strength and drive. His journey was marked by a strong will to get through hard times, and he came out on top, making a way for himself.

A GoFundMe page has been established by Mitchell Etkin, a resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba. According to Etkin, the money raised through this effort will go to the family to help with the funeral expenses. The page “Brendan Mahatoo Memorial Law Scholarship” has raised $3,575 CAD of the $25,000 goal.
The family will release an obituary and funeral arrangements for Brendan Mahatoo.
