Breeanna Ward’s body was discovered in Williston, according to reports: A body discovered in Williston early Sunday afternoon is thought to be Breeanna Ward, a Williston woman who had been missing for over three months.
The Williston Police Department issued a statement on Sunday evening, indicating that at 1:44 p.m. that day, law enforcement was summoned to the 400 block of 11th Avenue West for “a report of an unresponsible person believed to be deceased.”
Law officials acknowledged that a deceased person was discovered “who matched the description of Ward” — a 28-year-old Williston woman reported missing in the city on February 28 — and that “preliminary indicators suggest that the deceased individual is Breeanna.” However, the Williston Police Department claimed in a news release that no positive indications of this relationship had been made as of Sunday evening.
“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this individual’s death is currently ongoing,” stated the announcement. The Williston Police Department invites anyone with information on Ward’s disappearance to call 701-577-1212.
