Braydan Duree Death – Braydan Duree has passed away suddenly. On Thursday, July 20, he was pronounced dead after succumbing to injuries from a climbing incident. The beloved Geotechnical Engineer died after falling about 40 to 50 foot in Grand Teton National Park. Apparently, he was climbing the Owen Chimney pitch on the Owen-Spalding route of the Grand Teton with two other climbers when he fell.
Within the national park, park rangers would attend to his location if they were alerted to it. On the other hand, Duree “succumbed to significant injuries sustained during the fall and was pronounced dead at the scene.” Both of his climbing partners made it safely down the mountain.
