Brandon Braxton Missing – Brandon Braxton has been reported missing to the family to the Winston Salem Police Department. The N.C. Central for missing persons has issued a silver Alert for a missing endangered man. Brandon Braxton was believed to be in Winston-Salem, NC around June 27th, 2022, by loved ones. They last time he was reached was on July 4th, 2022 and now he has been missing for over a month.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Brandon Braxton, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. If anyone has information regarding his whereabouts, has talked to him recently, or has seen him, please call Winston-Salem Police Department 336-773-7700.
**16-year-old missing Keagan Wright, found dead after drowning**
A Smith County teen who had been reported missing was discovered dead in a swimming pool after having drowned. According to the authorities, Keagan Wright, who was 16 years old at the time, left his home on CR 314 in the Sand Flat area of northern Smith County at approximately 7:15 in the morning on August 6.
On that day, around 7 o’clock in the evening, deputies from the Smith County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a person who may have drowned in the 15500 block of CR 314. Upon their arrival, they were informed that Wright had passed away after drowning in a swimming pool at this location, which was close to his residence.
Judge Jon Johnson, who serves as the Justice of the Peace for Smith County Precinct 5, has arrived at the scene where the inquest will take place. In addition, investigators from Smith County responded to the scene to continue the investigation. Wright’s body was transported to Forensic Medical in Tyler after the judge in charge of the case, Johnson, issued an order for an autopsy.
