Blake Lipton Found safe – After being located and confirmed to be in good health, ABC Channel 7 / FOX Bangor news anchor Blake Lipton, who had been reported missing earlier, the hunt for him has been called off. An official report of the news anchor from FOX Bangor being missing was filed to the authorities as well as the general public, with a plea made to the general public for assistance in locating the news anchor.
After not being seen since Monday evening, his family has filed a missing person report for Blake Lipton. According to Lipton’s mother, her son failed to show up for work Tuesday morning. There was little further the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department could say about the situation other than the fact that he had been found and that he was still alive. It is uncertain what his condition is at this time. Channel 7, the television network for where Blake Lipton works, issued their report on the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
Strangely, in their account, they make no mention of the fact that he worked at the station in any capacity. In June of 2021, Blake Lipton became a member of the WVII team. It is the second time that he has served as a member of the news crew for ABC 7 and Fox 22. Blake served as the morning anchor for WVII for a total of three years before moving on to become the assignment editor at the station.
In the past, Blake has also held the roles of anchor and reporter for a television news station in the state of Tennessee. Blake attended the University of South Carolina for his education in broadcast journalism. He was born and raised in the Maryland / Washington, D.C. area. He is overjoyed to be back in Maine and to be able to serve the city of Bangor.
Penobscot County is a county in the U.S. state of Maine, named for the Penobscot Nation on Wabanakik. As of the 2020 census, the population was 152,199. Its county seat is Bangor. The county was established on February 15, 1816, from part of Hancock County when the area was still part of Massachusetts.
