Blais Bellenoit passed away
Ehren Cruz posted that “sending love and gratitude out to the universe for the amazing soul Blais Bellenoit, whom I just received word passed away last week. During early Covid, this amazing brother lived with our family for three months to create an absolute masterpiece for our ceremonial temple. Blaise took a vision from the deepest parts of our soul and wove it into an expression that will sit in the heart of our sacred space for all time. Rest in paradise Blaise. Thank you sharing your masterful art with the world. We are eternally grateful and will remember you every time we sit in Ceremony for all time. Love you brother.”
Since his mother, Rita Jean Krupowicz, was a professional fantasy illustrator for twenty years, he considers himself extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow up in an atmosphere that was highly creatively inspirational. Adam Caddick, the man’s brother, was also a very skilled artist in his own right.
In the early years of Bellenoit’s childhood, he spent countless hours either standing by his mother’s side at her art table, observing her as she created incredible works of art, or standing over his brother’s shoulder, picking up skills through observation and imitation. During the pinnacle of his mother’s career, she was hand-picked by Stephen King to appear in the illustrated version of the Talisman. As a result of this, she garnered praise all around the world for her contribution.
His mother passed away when Bellenoit was fifteen years old, marking the official passing of the baton to him and his brother. Since then, they have been doing everything in their power to preserve it, pass it on to future generations, and keep the creative tradition alive in their family.
Because to the efforts and generosity of his grandmother and father, Bellenoit was able to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology after completing all four years of study there. After receiving his diploma, he immediately launched a career in independent art.
