Blair Nelson Death – Waseca County Board of Commissioners Chair Blair Nelson has sadly passed away. He died on Tuesday 30th May 2023 from heart attack. He was announced dead by his daughter in a post that reads “It is with a beyond heavy heart to admit our loving dad passed away unexpectedly from a massive heart attack last night”. He was the kind of person who would talk to anyone and would never be without a smile on their face.
Who was Blair Nelson?
Not only did Blair contribute to the success of the Waseca County Fair by operating the well-known Nelson Lemonade Stand, but he also helped us in his capacity as County Commissioner and in any other way he could personally. Blair was a wonderful role model for his daughters, a supportive brother, and an all-around exceptional individual. Blair was a man who never missed an opportunity to support the people in his neighborhood.
He volunteered his time for a large number of boards and organizations, particularly those whose primary mission was to assist Waseca County individuals who lacked financial resources. The amount of friendliness that Blair showed, as well as his handshakes, was generous. He had a friendly attitude, which made people feel at ease when they were in his company.

The fact that he goes out of his way to help other people without any hope of being thanked or recognised for his efforts is evidence of his naturally helpful personality. When it came to working towards their objectives, he shown both patience and perseverance. He was a firm believer in putting in a lot of effort and trying his best to achieve his goals, but he never did so at the expense of other people. He was the kind of person that was always willing to help people and eager to do so in any manner imaginable. He had a pleasant smile that lit up his face and gave off the impression that he was approachable and nice.
He exemplifies all the characteristics of a wonderful friend, always being there to lend support and advice when it’s required. The tranquil and reassuring manner in which he carried himself was a source of comfort to those who were in his immediate vicinity, elevating them to the status of treasured members of any social circle.
