It is with heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of our friend and teammate, Bill Weber.
During his fifteen years with Bethel Woods, Bill was far more than a security supervisor. He was our calming force, warming presence, and resident Saint Bernard expert. It is hard to imagine what a concert looks like without his smile greeting staff and guests alike at the front gates. May he rest in peace.

Bill Weber was extremely intelligent, considerate, and sympathetic. He was a diligent security supervisor with good communication abilities. He enjoyed discussing life over ice-cold beverages and was always ready with advice and opinions. He spent fifteen years working for the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in New York. Everyone he encountered became a buddy of his. He offered a helping hand, a listening ear, and an open heart to innumerable individuals.
He was an enormously handsome man on the inside and out who was also kind, amusing, diligent, and wise. His attitude was so vibrant that it lighted up the room, and he had the sweetest disposition and the most gorgeous grin. Bill was a member of the Bethel Woods family in addition to being a friend and coworker. He embodied what Bethel Woods stood for. He was the reassuring power and comforting presence of Bethel Woods.

With his broad grin and mutual respect for others, he could calm any situation. At any given event, Bill would welcome you with the same warmth and passion no matter how many times you passed him. Nobody else is quite like him. Even though those who loved him will mourn him dearly, everyone he touched has been touched by his spirit. Though deeply missed, he will be remembered with a much greater affection. He enjoyed being around his family and friends and was always up for a good time.
