Bill Romine and wife, Cathy died after a motorcycle accident in Madison

Bill Romine Death | Cathy Romine Death –  Following a motorbike accident in Madison County, a man and a woman from Prince William County were both pronounced dead at the scene. According to reports from the Virginia State Police (VSP), the collision took place on Route 231 just south of Aylor Road at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 23.

It was discovered that there were two people traveling northbound on Route 231 on a Harley Davidson motorbike model year 2006 when it failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, and collided head-on with a BMW car model year 2007. The crash caused both vehicles to leave the road and catch fire. Additionally, debris from the collision damaged a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, forcing it to lose control and leave the road. Both vehicles caught fire as a result of the incident.

59-year-old William E. Romine II and 58-year-old Cathleen T. Romine, both residents of the Bristow region of Prince William, were riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle when it crashed. Both of them were pronounced dead at the site. Both of them had helmets on their heads. The rider of the other motorcycle, a man from the Bristow area who was 56 years old, sustained critical injuries and was sent to the UVA Medical Center for treatment after the collision. A helmet was fastened on his head.

The man who was driving the BMW, a 68-year-old resident of Arlington County, sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision and was treated at the site. He had his seatbelt fastened at all times. VSP has not yet completed their investigation into this occurrence.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 42-year-old female motorcyclist was killed after colliding with an SUV. The collision occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m. on State Route 13 just south of State Route 31 on Saturday. According to a press release from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Robert Walker of Vienna collided with an SUV while traveling southbound on Route 13.

The driver of the SUV was attempting to turn westbound into the parking lot of the SavOn filling station, according to the sheriff’s office. Alesha Walker, the passenger on the motorcycle, perished of her injuries at Oneida Health Hospital, according to the police. Robert Walker sustained severe injuries in the collision. During the investigation into the collision, the sheriff’s office requests that any potential witnesses call 315-366-2311.
