Ben Maddox Death – East Hamilton High School Alumnus Ben Maddox of Ooltewah, Tennessee has died at age of 21. He passed away on Tuesday 18th April 2023 after a tragic car accident. The news of his death has left many heartbroken. As pf the time this report was made, the exact caus eof what led to the accident has not been released. Everyone loved being around Ben Maddox because he had the funniest jokes, the biggest embraces, and the biggest, brightest smile.
Who was Ben Maddox?
He was the most trustworthy person anyone has ever met; he was a great provider and caregiver for his loved ones and a loving son and brother; and he will be sorely missed. The joy of those around him gave him energy, and he would do anything to ensure their satisfaction. Everyone who had the pleasure of conversing with him praised him as a wonderful person who brought happiness and love wherever he went. Time spent with him was always rewarding.
He was kind and considerate, and he also seemed like a pleasant and entertaining companion. He was an all-around kind guy. He was a model citizen who always went out of his way to help those in need. Because of his poise and confidence, many looked up to him and found him to be an example to follow.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maureen Maddox. Survivors are his parents, Tim and Meg Maddox; siblings, Raegan Maddox, Morgan Ralls, Brighton Ralls, Jake Ralls, and Grayson Maddox; grandmother, Jan “Nini” Waldo, all of Ooltewah; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Tinsley, Robert Tinsley, Jean Maddox, Julie Schafer, Alan Schafer, Michael Williams, Elaine Heiden, Steve Heiden, Angela Garraux, and Jeffrey Garraux; cousins, Kennidy Hood, Chandler Hood, Luke Schafer, Jake Schafer, Natalie Schafer, Cade Tinsley, Caroline Tinsley, Eric Walters, John Walters, Emily Williams, Erin Williams, Elizabeth Thames, Alex Thames, Karlie Heiden, Kate Heiden, and Andrew Heiden.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 21, at 4 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hall officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
