On Wednesday 12th April 2023, West TV Elementary, Oregon shared the news of its Facebook page in a post that reads “FYI- Becky Talus, West TV teacher and parent, has passed away from a brain aneurysm”.

She was such a great person to have in the world, and we are so glad she was born. In every way imaginable, she was a one-of-a-kind individual. She was such a wonderful example of the qualities that should characterize a human being. Simply being in Becky Talus’ presence was enough to put a grin on one’s face; just being around her was enough. She was able to keep her dry sense of humor until the very last day of her life, which is quite an accomplishment in and of itself.
She spent her working life to a field that required her to work with children and teenagers in some capacity. She was a fantastic educator who always went out of her way to ensure that her students comprehended the content by showing them that she cared about them. She was a beautiful person on the inside as well as the outward, and as a result, a great degree of adoration and affection was directed at her by a vast number of people.
