According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a woman was shot and hurt early on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at an apartment complex in Beaverton. A 20-year-old Portland man was then detained. Deputies were called to the 18800 block of Southwest Farmington Road just after midnight after several witnesses reported hearing a gunshot and seeing an injured woman. The woman was discovered by the arriving cops outside an apartment unit with a gunshot wound to her leg, according to the police.
Prior to the arrival of emergency medical personnel who would transport the woman to a local hospital, the deputies provided first assistance to the woman.
