Beale Street Shooting – Investigations are ongoing following a shooting incident at Beale Street in Memphis TN. According to reports, authorities have arrived at the site of a shooting near Handy Park’s 200 Beale Street. Both Memphis Fire and Memphis Police have verified that they are currently responding to a gunshot incident in the area. Authorities have not provided any more information. WREG is attempting to get further details. Reports also say that that one man was shot due to the shooting incident. He was immediately loaded into the ambulance to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

After being hit by a vehicle in Midtown on Saturday night, one individual is now dead. At 9:43 p.m., according to Memphis Police, officers arrived on the scene in the 1700 block of Union Avenue. After being transported to Regional One in serious condition, the pedestrian was eventually declared deceased. According to police, the guilty car left the scene. An officer was fired at while attempting to halt a carjacking, according to the Memphis Police Department. An off-duty police officer saw three people trying to break into a car around 7:13 in the evening. They started shooting at the MPD officer when he confronted them. One of the people was hit by the officer’s first round of fire in return. The suspect was transported in a critical but stable condition to a neighboring medical institution. The policeman wasn’t hurt in any way. The inquiry into this is still underway.
