Sadly, Modified legend ‘Barefoot’ Bob McCreadie passed away tonight. Speaking of the greats, one cannot discuss them without mentioning him. It didn’t matter if he was conversing with Roger Penske or flying down the Syracuse front stretch. Bob got the most out of all the automobiles he drove over his career, some of which were really special. I’m grateful for the memories. We are sending Tim, Jordan, and his entire family our best wishes, along with our sympathies and admirers.
The legendary “Barefoot” Bob McCreadie of DIRT Modified is deeply missed by Ransomville Speedway. He was a contender each and every time the Kinney Drugs, Syracuse Frame Service #9 rolled into the pits. He has won the Summer Nationals multiple times.
