Balboa Naval Hospital Shooting Investigations – Police say one person has been taken into custody following a report of an active shooter at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, California Friday. According to law enforcement agencies, the Balboa Naval Hospital located at 34800 Bob Wilson Dr, San Diego, was placed on lockdown after what police described as a brief security scare. Police say an adult male has been arrested in connection to the incident.
According to CBS 8, security called the police after seeing someone approaching a person who fled away, and a shelter-in-place order was issued. According to a Navy official, patients and hospital workers have been advised to shelter in place. There was no active shooter, and no one was injured or hurt throughout the incident.

According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez, detectives are looking into the fatal shooting of a man on Friday night in Camden. On Friday, March 17, 2023, at 10:54 p.m., Camden County Police Department officers responded to the 1300 block of Fairview Street in Camden for a complaint of a person shot, according to Camden County authorities. When officers got on the scene, they discovered Naseer Bryant, 23, of Sicklerville, who seemed to have sustained gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
According to authorities, the victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital and pronounced dead at about 11:16 p.m. At this point, the investigation is active and ongoing, according to officials.
