He died on Wednesday 20th September 2023 after a deadly car accident that also left his younger brother injured. He was confirmed dead on Thursday through a post that reads “Please keep our dearest friends The Gilliland’s, Kenslie and family in your deepest thoughts and prayers. They tragically lost their oldest, fun loving son Austin in a horrendous auto accident yesterday afternoon and their youngest son Ethan sustained serious injuries and is at Regional One Memphis”.
