Austin Blaine Gilliland Death – Arlington High School Alumnus Austin Blaine Gilliland of Memphis, Tennessee has sadly passed away. He died on Wednesday 20th September 2023 after a deadly car accident that also left his younger brother injured. He was confirmed dead on Thursday through a post that reads “Please keep our dearest friends The Gilliland’s, Kenslie and family in your deepest thoughts and prayers. They tragically lost their oldest, fun loving son Austin in a horrendous auto accident yesterday afternoon and their youngest son Ethan sustained serious injuries and is at Regional One Memphis”.

Memphis was Austin’s hometown growing up. He received his high school diploma from Arlington High School in Tennessee in the year 2017. One of the qualities that made Austin the most lovable was the fact that he was kind and compassionate. His loved ones and friends frequently characterize him as the kind of person who would go out of his way to assist others who were struggling. Austin’s compassionate nature shines through in everything that he does, whether it be lending an ear to listen, providing a shoulder to lean on, or actively working in the community.

Austin Pegrim created a GoFundMe account on the 21st of September, 2023, with the intention of soliciting monetary contributions in order to cover the costs of Austin Blaine Gilliland’s memorial services and funeral expenses. However, as of the time that this article was written, a total of $5,330 has been raised thanks to the contributions of 87 different people, with the single largest contribution amounting to $500. The initial target for the account was to accumulate the sum of $15,000.
An excerpt from the fundraise reads “This Fundraiser is to support and provide assistance to Austin’s Family for Funeral Arrangements and Medical Bills Incoming.
