He died due to complications from his diabetes at the age of 24. He was confirmed dead through a post made by his family member on Facebook that says “We are heartbroken to share that our dear Austin passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24 due to complications from his diabetes”.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to generate money that will be provided to them so that they can alleviate some of their financial burden. There was an initial goal of $25,000 to be achieved, however as of right now, the total amount of $21,314 that has been raised has been contributed to by 153 different donors.
A statement from the account reads “I’m so lost for words right now. My dear childhood friend Kinda, one of the most loving people I know, lost her everything. Her only child Austin at such a young age of 24 was found unresponsive. Suddenly & unexpectedly, his diabetic pump malfunctioned”.
