Ashley Ray Death – Longtime Dublin, Virginia resident, Ashley Ray has passed away suddenly following a shooting incident on 5997 Wilderness Road Lot 28 in Dublin. She was found dead inside the residence with gunshot wounds on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She died at age 25 leaving her family, friends and loved ones heartbroken and devastated learning of her sudden passing.
Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office responded to the shooting incident hereby locating a male and a female dead inside the residence with gunshot wounds. They were both confirmed dead by rescue personnel. During the event, there were two children under the age of 18 in the house. Neither of them were hurt, and they were taken to a neighbor’s house until the Department of Social Services could come and help.
Who was Ashley Ray?
Ashley Ray was a resident of Dublin, Virginia. She worked in Highland Ridge Rehab Center. She studied at Wytheville Community College, a Community college in Wytheville, Virginia. She attended to George Wythe High where she completed her secondary education. She was a native of Tifton, Georgia where she was born and raised.

The inquiry is still underway, and both Brewer and Ray were sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke after the incident occurred there.
