Ashley Kroc Obituary, Death : Ashley Lynn Kroc, 24, of Libertyville, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from an automobile accident near her home. She was born August 13, 1997, in Lake Forest, IL, and had been a Libertyville resident most of her life.
She was a 2016 graduate of Libertyville High School, where she enjoyed being on the volleyball team. Ashley attended Iowa State University and was a recent graduate of Loyola University in Chicago. She had just begun her career as an events coordinator for Clarion Events in Chicago.
Ashley enriched her family and friends lives with her bubbly personality and unlimited creativity. She was the loving and devoted daughter of Dan and Tami Kroc of Libertyville; also surviving is Kelly Kroc, her special twin sister; Judith Kroc, her paternal grandmother; James Holm, her loving boyfriend; uncles, Jason and Dave; aunts, Jackie and Laura and all her cousins, Ellen, Tommy, Andy, Michelle, Johnathon, Samantha, Matthew and Ellie.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tom and Sandy DeWilde.
A visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1 pm Friday, with Deacon Mike Penich, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wright-Way Rescue in Morton Grove, IL.
