Anthony Gallo and Lorraine Haeg Death – Anthony Gallo and Lorraine Haeg has sadly passed away. They died after a deadly motorcycle accident involving a Hampton Jitney Bus on Tuesday 13th June 2023. According to report, the accident occurred around 5:51 p.m., at the intersection of Moores Lane and New York State Route 25. The incident involved a Hampton Jitney bus, driven by Jeanluc Gayott, Jr. of Port Jefferson, and a motorcycle ridden by Gallo with Haeg as a passenger.
How did the accident happen?
Reports state that as the bus was turning left to proceed east on Moores Lane, it crossed the motorcycle’s westbound path. Gallo suffered injuries and was rushed to the Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead. Haeg, on the other hand, was initially treated at the same hospital before being airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County Police aviation. Unfortunately, she also passed away from her injuries at Stony Brook.
Gayott was released after treatment for minor wounds sustained in the crash. The Southold Town police detectives and the New York State Police Department’s accident investigation unit are currently working together to examine the incident. The collision is considered non-criminal; therefore, no charges were filed, and the roadways in the area remained closed for approximately four hours as the investigation continued.

According to the Howard County police, a single-vehicle accident that occurred early on Monday morning in Laurel resulted in the death of a woman. After the automobile collided with a tree, the front passenger, Elisa Lopez Calix, 21, was rushed to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where she was later confirmed dead on Monday evening the 5th of June 2023. The 2017 Honda Accord was traveling east on John Hopkins Road in the vicinity of Route 29 in Laurel when, according to the police, it was unable to “negotiate” a traffic circle, causing it to crash into a tree in the area.
The driver, an adult male, was also taken to Shock Trauma, where he was treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
