Death: Man Shot And Killed In Hardin Community Shooting – Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were summoned to a residence in the 3100 block of Eva Drive near the Hardin Community yesterday, April 7, 2022, at around 6:56 p.m. for a gunshot. They discovered an unresponsive male who had been shot when they arrived.
According to a Facebook post Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Anthony Alexander, 33, was identified as the victim and was pronounced dead at the scene by Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher. A person of interest, now named Charlie Andrew Irvin (51) who was detained at the site, has been arrested in the investigation. Irvin has been charged with Capital Murder and Tampering with Evidence and has been lodged in the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to conduct its investigation.
