The victim has been identified as Angie Smith, the most beautiful NHRA Pro Stock Bike driver. Reports indicate that Angie Smith a resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina was occupying the left lane, while Cory Reed was situated in the right lane.
It has been reported that Angie Smith is currently awake and engaged in communication. Angie has come off her motorcycle past the shutdown in Q2 of NHRA nhrapsm qualifying here at Gateway.

Report: Angie Smith, the Pro Stock Motorcycle racer, had to be taken to a nearby hospital following a qualifying crash at the NHRA Midwest Nationals held at World Wide Technology Raceway. Smith became separated from her bike after completing her run and came to a stop. Despite the incident, Smith remained conscious and alert. The NHRA medical team assessed her condition at the scene before deciding to transport her to a nearby medical facility for additional evaluation.
She was in the left lane with Cory Reed in the right. She is reportedly alert and communicating, and is being transported to the hospital. They were the first pair out, and the situation was serious enough that the whole Matt Smith Racing team rolled back to the trailer instead of making the pass. No one at the starting line saw anything and silence and confusion reigned.
