The news of his death has left family, friends and colleagues devastated. He was confirmed dead by his family on Monday. Who was Andy Smith?
His infectious grin spread to everyone in the room, and his giggling could be heard in every nook and crevice of the space. His laughter could also be heard everywhere in the room. Regardless of how tough the situation was, he never lost his cool, never lost his temper, and never lost his patience. He remained calm and collected throughout. It was a pleasure to engage in conversation with him, and he possessed an astonishingly wide breadth and depth of knowledge. He will be deeply missed.
He was a magnificent man who oozed both love and compassion toward other people. He cared deeply about their well-being. Every single person he interacted with was treated to nothing but smiles, compliments, and acts of kindness by him. He was a genuinely kind and cheerful man, always prepared to lend a helping hand, and virtually always had a smile on her face when he was around.

He was always bubbling over with vitality and possessed a sense of humor that was contagious all at the same time. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Tommy, Bonnie Smith and Carolyn Stevens. He is survived by : his parents, Craig Smith and Renee Smith; his grandfather Donnie Westmoreland; his siblings, Ryan Lawrence (Valerie), Thorne Smith and Shelby Marshall (Kyle); and his nieces and nephews, Shea Lawrence, Owen Marshall, Lydia Lawrence and Boston Marshall.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (605 Davis St, New Madrid, MO 63869). A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 5th 2023 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
