According to reports, Laiken Hancock passed away from injuries sustained from the fatal crash. The accident occurred on Thursday, the 27th of April 2023. No further information was mentioned. Laiken Hancock was born and raised in Camden, Tennessee. She was a student at Central High School. Laiken worked at The Krusty Krab, according to her Facebook profile. Her mother, Kathey is a beloved staff member at daymaker cafe. Laiken was so sweet, always smiling, and could befriend anybody you put in front of her.

A GoFundMe page has been established by Taylor Reid, a resident of Huntingdon, Tennessee. According to Reid, the money raised through this effort will go to the family to help with the funeral expenses. The page “Laiken Hancock Memorial and funeral expenses” has raised $120 USD of the $5,000 goal.

Tuesday night’s collision on Highway 641 South in Benton County claimed the life of a female passenger. At around 8:30 p.m., Hannah Anthony, 36 years old, was travelling south on Highway 641 in her 2008 Nissan Altima when she was involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer, as reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Anthony did not survive the collision and was killed. According to the report of the collision, Hannah was travelling with another passenger who was a young child who was restrained in a car seat and so did not sustain any injuries. The person operating the tractor-trailer didn’t sustain any injuries, either.
