The deceased has been identified as Andy Balika, a sixth-grade student at Highland Middle School. “Let’s pray for the families of those who have gone home to the Lord. Let’s especially pray for all of our young people. May they know the strength and love of God in this time of loss.”

His pals characterized him as someone who was always up for a good time and a good laugh. Andy was well known for his generosity, and he never put himself before others. He was considerate and caring, and he never missed an opportunity to flash a smile if he realized he was being observed by another person. He was always a pleasure to be around.
