Andrew Bartlett Death – Andrew Bartlett, well known Hockey SIJHL referee has passed away after long battle with cancer. He was pronounced dead on Monday, the 23rd of April. He died leaving behind his family, friends and loved ones who will forever miss him devastated and heartbroken. He was announced dead through a post by the Wisconsin Lumberjacks: It is with extreme sadness that we say goodbye today to one of the best humans, Mr. Andrew Bartlett.”

Andrew Bartlett was a SIJHL referee. “He was a dedicated official and class act on and off the ice” Andrew was regarded a Hockey ambassador. He would usually call The Cochenour Arena his home rink which made the 540 km round trip to officiate a game. Prior to his death, he was presented with an award at the inaugural SIJHL with “Most Dedicated Official Award”. He was also recognized by HNO in 2018 with its Most Deserving Official Award.
