He died on Saturday 16th September 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. He was announced dead by Big Fat Panda on its Facebook page saying “It is with broken hearts we must announce the loss of our Andy Laidlaw. Andy passed away peacefully early this morning in the Edinburgh Royal”. The actual cause of his death has not been disclosed.
