Amy Chesser and Scotty McCandless Accident – Amy Chesser Naples FL and Scotty McCandless has been badly injured in a car accident that involved shooting on Thursday 1st June 2023. On Thursday night in Golden Gate Estates, a rollover crash resulted in serious injuries for two individuals, one of whom sustained a gunshot wound. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is currently investigating this incident.
How did the accident happen?
The crash occurred near the intersection of Immokalee Road and Cornerstone Drive, prompting Greater Naples Fire, North Collier Fire, and Collier County EMS crews to respond around 10:55 p.m. Firefighters had to extricate both occupants from the single-vehicle involved in the accident. During this process, one of the injured individuals revealed to responders that they had been shot, as reported by CCSO. Both patients were then transported via MedFlight to Gulf Coast Hospital for treatment. Multiple lanes in both directions on Immokalee Road remain blocked at this time.

According to a recent report from the Florida Highway Patrol, an unfortunate incident occurred in Rural Estates that left a 28-year-old passenger dead and the 27-year-old driver critically injured. The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. on Friday along Everglades Boulevard North, near 18th Avenue Northeast.
The vehicle in question was traveling south on Everglades Boulevard North when it veered off the road, ultimately colliding with a tree. Prior to the collision with the tree, the vehicle hit a mailbox and a trash can. Sadly, the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while the driver was urgently transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center due to critical injuries sustained in the accident. This marks the seventh Collier County road fatality this year.
